PRE-NYE Dec 30th
The Penultimate NYEve party on Dec 30th. DJ, debauchery, midnight countdown. This should be great practice for the real 
NYE the next night! Ceili Cottage is still available for a PRIVATE PARTY on NYE so call them and book it for you and your friends. After you’re done destroying your liver and partying like a maniac you can come by again on Jan 1st for the Infamous Hangover Breakfast, and Aspirin Buffet. I’m pretty sure you don’t even have to leave this place for 3 days straight. (well maybe Shucker Paddy will have something to say about that but hey…give it a try!)
New Years Eve 2014-2015 – Parties and Food
Bill Hicks Bar – Go rock yourself! You don’t need a website or anything when you’re this cool. Small space so you likely won’t get in but you should come anyway as this will be the best f***ing party in Leslieville. 10pm to 3am folks. Strict no douchebag policy.
Saturday Dinette – All you can fit Taco Bar! Well, I don’t know if you’re ready for this but this just may be the cheapest and most satisfying way to spend New Years Eve. From 7pm to 2am the fine folks at Saturday Dinette on Gerrard are serving up ALL YOU CAN EAT Tacos for $25 bones with some bubbly at midnight. No reservations, just show up early and sit your fat ass down and eat till you drop. Win win as far as we’re concerned.
Prohibition is throwing their famous Friday Night Dance Party for NYE They’ll have a DJ and of course their usual Hooch Hour (East Side Happy Hour) from 4-7pm and 10-12am. See link above for Hooch Hour deals.
New Beers Eve @ Boots and Bourbon Riverside – Buy your tickets NOW! They’re 70% sold out as of yesterday. They’re serving up a country buffet dinner 9-11pm and throwing down some live county tunes from 8pm to 4am. Ya, that’s right. 4am. Who’s in?
The Duke Live NYE Partay! The Duke has had a bad rap for years but manager Donna Riddell has turned things around by steering the Duke brand in a whole new direction! Amazing live music on NYE with party favours and bubbly at midnight. DJ will be playing between band sets so bring your requests and your thirsty bellies! $10 cover at the door and leave your bad attitudes at home!
Big Gay Dance Party at WAYLA Bar! They are taking the 2 hottest WAYLA parties and combining them for the greatest NYE EVER!!!! New hot party Bobo’s Bang Bang has been packing WAYLA now the second Saturday of every month with the best 90’s & 00’s courtesy of Host Scarlett Bobo and DJ Fluffy Souffle… Pop Machine is 4 years and still packing them in on the last Saturday of every month with all your pop faves from the 80’s to NOW with Dj Aural… Special guest founder Shane Percy will be doing a special set…. Gio Rana’s aka The Nose – Sorry the late seating for NYE at 9pm is all taken 🙁 but if you’re not into the crazy late night scene and want an amazing earlier dinner then The Nose is the place for you. They still have a few tables available for their 6:30pm seating (gotta leave by 9 though) so head over for an early dinner and head to that killer party or head back home and ring in the New Year! Brookyn Tavern Sabrefest! They’re keeping it simple with their regular A-la-carte menu but also adding a mouth watering scallop special along with lobster that can be added to their hand cut steak dish. Of course counting down the to midnight with a crazy champagne bottle sabre’ing and sharing bubbly with their guests. This won’t be a raging party but a nice semi-quiet and civilized NYE experience.
Skin and Bones Multi Course Feast! Prefer a romantic night out? For $110 you’ll get a multi-course dinner for two with rib eye, grilled octopus, chocolate tarts and if you’re really hungry you can add the optional pasta course for $30. McGugans Business as Usual NYE! Out of the Box or still in the box? Who cares! McGugans is a fantastic local on Gerrard East and wants to host a more casual New Years Eve bash. They will have NO cover and $5 Local Draft and $5 mixed drinks till midnight. This is a great local option with the BEST bar food in the area.
Leslieville Pumps all night Curry Feast! Picture this: It’s 4am, you can’t remember most of the evening you just hopefully enjoyed but there’s one shining light ahead, and that’s the Leslieville Pumps. Their staff will be making hot and fresh Curry & Butter Chicken for you to enjoy ALL NIGHT LONG till 6:30AM. So make sure you end your evening here with an alcohol absorbing bowl of some fine homemade curry. You’re welcome!

New Years Day Brunch
We are the brunch capitol of the World after all…aren’t we?
The Roy has never been a big New Year’s Eve place but they always have a great brunch on New Year’s Day from 11 – 3. $5 Caesars, Marys and boozy coffees and we’ve brought back an old favourite Pie in the Sky which is scalloped potatoes with sweet peppers, onions, ham, peameal, 2 eggs (poached or scrambled) smothered in hollandaise sauce.
Lady Marmalade will likely have a massive lineup on New Years Day but if you show up before 9:30am there’s usually no line so cone early or be prepared to wait!
Lil Baci is the little secret gem of Leslieville. Usually no lineup but the food is damn awesome. So if you’re not into line-ups go there and be wowed by their dynamite food…and they make a pretty awesome caeser too!
