The Arts Market, Leslieville’s favourite shop  is set to open its second east end location in Riverside (there’s a third in the West End) on Valentines Day 2016! Daniel Cohen, owner operator of the Market already has a bustling shop with amazing vendors at 1114 Queen Street East and another at 846 College Street at Ossington so why the second East End location?

Cohen says that he has a huge waiting list of vendors at the Leslieville location who are super eager to make their products available to consumers. The Market’s only option was to look for a second East End location to make more space for them. Plus the two markets are far enough apart to be able to capture a new demographic of younger consumers who live in and around the Broadview and Queen area. Perhaps even attract some of the thousands of new condo dwellers over the bridge in Corktown and River City.

For two years in a row I’ve been able to do all of my Christmas shopping at the Leslieville Arts Market. It really is a great way to support local artisans while not having to make any compromises. Top shelf, creative products brought to you by ambitious entrepreneurs. Doesn’t get any better than that.

A lot of the 50 available vendor spots have already been filled but if you’re a vendor there are options for you so please reach out to Daniel at the Arts Market here.

Congratulations to Daniel and his team! Wishing you continued success and we can’t wait to write about the 50th store opening!
