About a month ago the Seller called me up to see what the value of the property might be today. Surprisingly, the area had improved in value tremendously so we decided that it was the right time to sell.
But to get the place in tip-top shape we needed to get to work!
We wanted to leave the new Buyer, the future homeowner, with a perfect place they didn’t have to spend a dime on once they moved in.
I started by replacing the dated kitchen flooring with this spectacular hexagonal tile we found. The perfect compliment to the granite countertops and plays perfectly with the high-quality stainless steel appliances.
Then we had to do something about the den space! This townhome used to be a two-bedroom. There was an area on the Northside of the 2nd floor that was being used as an open concept den/art studio. It has a closet and a nice bright window so creating the 3rd bedroom there was a no brainer. We added a classic sliding door using high quality black matte hardware to tie into the new black tile work and fixtures we added to the kitchen. A work of art!

These townhomes were built in 2003 but you’d never know by looking at the streetscape. The developer did such a great job integrating these new builds into the existing Victorian style of the entire community.
Cabbagetown has one of the most active residents associations and committees who make sure that developers and homeowners do everything in their power to maintain a high quality and uniform design standard in the area. That’s one of the main reasons Cabbagetown remains at the top of many urban buyers’ shopping lists and values here have consistently outperformed other neighbouring communities.
